In the command window, typevssadmin list shadowstorageand hitEnterto show the shadow storage space.
Runvssadmin delete shadows /for=c: /allto delete all shadow copies on a specific volume.

Runvssadmin delete shadows /shadow=[Shadow ID]to delete a specific shadow copy from any volume.
Or, runvssadmin delete shadows /for=c: /oldestto delete the oldest shadow copy from a specific volume.
After the process is done, quit Command Prompt to see if VSS insufficient storage still exists.
