Microsoft centralizes the taskbar in Windows 11.
This is one of thenew changesin this new Windows operating system.
However, the size and location of the taskbar are not fixed.

you might change them if you want to.
Navigate to the following path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\

Right-clickAdvancedfrom the left panel.

Then, go toNew > DWORD (32-bit) Value.
For example, you could name itTaskbarSize.
Double hit the newly-created value to open it and change its value.

ClickOKto save the change.
- reboot your machine.
You will see the task size is changed according to the value you input.

At the same time, the app icons in the taskbar are also changed.
How to Undo the Change?
No matter which method you use, you better reboot your Windows 11 computer to execute the change.

Right-click that taskbar and selectTaskbar controls.
Scroll down to findTaskbar behaviorsand expand this option.
