How to Clear Windows Update Cache
There are 3 ways for you.

Step 1: TypeFile Explorerin theSearchbox to open it.
Step 2: Find and right-clickLocal Disk (C)to chooseProperties.
Step 3: Then, clickDisk Clean-up.

After that, click theClean up system filesoption.
Step 4: Then, check theWindows upgrade log filesandTemporary Windows Installation filesboxes and clickOK.
Step 5: Press theWindowsandRkeys at the same time to open theRundialogue box.

Typeservices.mscand clickOKto open theServicesapplication.
Step 6:From the list of applications, right-clickWindows Updateto selectStop.
Step 7: Next, open File Explorer and go toC:\ > Windows > SoftwareDistribution.
Remove all the files in the folder.
Then, you have cleared the Windows update cache successfully.

Step 3: Right-click theCleardown.cmdfile and selectrun as administrator.
