How to unlock the Task Manager Option in the Taskbar Context Menu on Windows 11?

Step 1:Download ViVeTool zip file on your PC.

For instance, my path is C:\ViVeTool-v0.3.2.

Step 4:Run Command Prompt as administrator.

For example, I runcd C:\ViVeTool-v0.3.2in Command Prompt.

Step 6: Typevivetool /enable /id:36860984and pressEnterto execute the command.

How to turn off the Task Manager Option in the taskbar context menu on Windows 11?

Step 1: Run Command Prompt as administrator.

Step 2: Runcd [the path of the ViVeTool]in Command Prompt.

Step 3: Typevivetool /disable /id:36860984into Command Prompt and pressEnterto run this command.

Step 4: reboot your Windows 11 PC.

Step 4: Right-hit the 4 subkey, selectNewfrom the context menu, and then selectKey.

Step 5: Name the new key as 1887869580.

Step 7: Name the new key asEnableState.

Step 8: Right-clickEnableStateand selectModify.

Step 9: Change the Value data to2, then clickOKto save the change.

Step 10: Right-hit the 1887869580 key and go toNew > DWORD (32-bit) Value.

Step 11: Name the value asEnabledStateOptions.

Step 12: Right-click EnabledStateOptions and selectModify.

Step 13: Change the Value data to0, then clickOKto save the change.

Step 14: power cycle your system.

Now, you might see the Task Manager option is back in the taskbar context menu.
