Sometimes, the BitLocker recovery key not found issue might crop up.
Luckily, you could find several feasible ways to find the lost BitLocker recovery key again.
Heres how to do it:
Step 1.
Power off your Windows unit.
Remove the power cable from the power source or remove the laptop battery.
After at least 5 minutes, plug the power cable back or reconnect the laptop battery.
Reboot your machine to see if BitLocker not found disappears.
If yes, you shoulddisable BitLockerinControl Paneland decrypt the problematic drive.
RunCommand Promptwith administrative rights.
In the command window, punch in the following command and hitEnter.
manage-bde -protectors X: -get
Step 3.
In the results window, note downRecovery IDandRecovery Key.
Then, test whether you could use this key to remove the BitLocker encryption.
OpenNotepadand copy & paste the following code lines into it > pressCtrl+Sto save it > hitFile> selectSave As.
Name the file asRecoveryKey.ps1and selectAll Filesfrom the drop-down menu ofSave as key in.
Right-click onStarticon and chooseWindows PowerShell (Admin).
RunCDcommand to navigate to theRecoveryKey.ps1file in the PowerShell and then execute the file.
Unlock the BitLocker encryption with the key listed.

Step 1.
Launch your online window and go to the Microsoft sign in page.
Click onDevicesand go to theBitLocker recoverytab.
peek if the problematic drive is listed there.
Tap onView BitLocker keyunder the problematic equipment.

Step 1.
Launch your web client and go to the OneDrive recovery page.
Step 2. input your credentials and look to see if the recovery key is there.
Via Azure or Office 365
Step 1.
Go toAzureand get in to your account.
In the left pane, tap on theAzure Active Directorymenu.
Go toDevices>All-Devices> copy the BitLocker Recovery key.
