Preparation: Create a Backup of the Registry Database
Step 1.
Typeregeditin the search bar and hitEnter.

To back up the entire registry database, right-click onComputerand selectExport.
Right-press the taskbar and selectTask Managerfrom the context menu.
In theProcessestab, right-press the process that you are making changes to and selectEnd task.

Right-choose it to chooseRun as administrator.
Now, make the changes that you failed to make to see iferror writing the values new contentsis fixed.
Heres how to do it:
Step 1.

Navigate to the location of the registry file that causes in the error.
Right-press the folder and selectPermissions.
In theSecuritytab, examine theDenycolumn.
If any permission such as Full Control, Read, or Special permissions is ticked, untick it.
Click onApply&OK.
To do so:

Typemsconfigand hitEnterto openSystem Configuration.
Under theBoottab, checkSafe Boot.
Click onApply>OK>Restart.
