set the game priority to high

Roll Back Graphics Driver

Step 1.

OpenDevice Managerand expandDisplay adapters.

Right-select your graphics card to chooseProperties.

hit Change high DPI settings

Under theDrivertab, pressRoll Back Driver.

Right-go for the blank space on the desktop to select NVIDIA Control Panel in the drop-down menu.

Go toManage 3D options>Program options.

hit OK

If it is not in the list, add it manually.

PressWin+Sto evoke thesearch bar.

UnderProgram options, hitAdd program to customizeand selectChoose exact file path.

Navigate to theexecutable file of Hogwarts Legacy, choose it and hitEdit.

Relaunch the game to see if Hogwarts Legacy lag, stuttering, or low FPS is gone.

If you find it makes the problem worse, undo the changes.

Right-hit thetaskbarand selectTask Manager.

Under theDetailstab, findHogwarts Legacyand right-choose it to chooseSet priority>High.

Locate the Hogwarts Legacy game directory to find the executable file of the game.

Right-choose it to choosePropertiesand go toCompatibility.

Under theCompatibilitytab, checkDisable fullscreen optimizationsand hitChange high DPI controls.

TickOverride high DPI scaling behavior> chooseApplication> hitOK&Applyto save the changes.
