The official end-of-life of Windows 10 1703 is earlier thanthe extended-EOL of Windows 7.
Microsoft said that after October 9, there will be no patches for Windows 10 1703.
Microsoft released Windows 10 1703 in early 2017, which was called Creators Update.

At first, the company said there were 18 months of security patches in June 2017.
Then Microsoft extended 6-months security support for Windows 10 1703 for Enterprise and Education customers in February 2018.
And the October 9, 2019 EOL is another 6-months extended security support.
Therefore, Microsoft suggests organizations computers running Windows 10 1703 should update to the latest version of Windows 10.
