Samsung had announced the roadmap for QLC SSDs and the second-Gen Z-NAND SSDs.

And we will show more information about these two series of Samsung SSDs.

Keep on your reading for getting more information.

But, Samsung is going to release the QLC products with a new line of QVO-branded SSDs.

But now, Samsung plans to go on to the 90 layers with V5.

Besides the layer increasing, there is another important improvement of the V5 90 layer NAND SSD.

The V5 QLC SSD will come in a 1TB SSD and its density will increase 33% than TLC.

This new high-performance variant boasts 37% faster read and 45% faster write latency than their competitors.

The 1TB die also has high performance.

It operates at 1.4Gbps that is nearly twice faster than other flash drives which operate in the 800Mbps range.

Samsung also shows that it will release the V6 flash which even has better performance.

And it is less than 100 layers, but the exact number of layer is obscure.

The Samsung 970 EVO SSD with V5 TLC NAND also will be launched.

Samsung will increase its capacity to 2TB and will increase the throughput to 3GB/s.

The second-Gen Samsung Z-NAND SSD comes in both SLC and MLC flavor.

The SLC can double increase the density of their first gen, which is 128Gb.

The capacity of the second-Gen Samsung Z-NAND SSD is various from the 800GB to 4TB.

It would be a good choice for those users who prefer larger capacity solid state drives.

So the roadmap of the Samsung QLC and Z-NAND SSD has been announced.

And we can know Samsung also try their best to improve the performance of the Samsung SSD.

And the roadmap also is announced on the Samsung Tech Day.

So we also hope good performance will be brought on the later Samsung QLC SSDs and Samsung Z-NAND SSDs.
